Iran (IMNA) – Speaking at the 19th meeting of the Iran–Russia Joint Economic Commission, Paknejad noted that the holding of both the 18th and 19th commission meetings within the same Iranian calendar year has created a rare opportunity to expand and accelerate bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors.
He underlined the importance of the current international context, stressing that the joint oil projects not only deepen economic relations between Tehran and Moscow but also carry broader strategic significance at the global level.
The oil minister also commended the active participation of Russian counterparts, particularly Russia’s Minister of Energy Sergei Tsivilev, saying their engagement played a key role in moving previous agreements from planning stages to concrete implementation.
